Stowmarket Local History Group was founded in 2004 to encourage interest and research into the history of this market town in central Suffolk. Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month with a talk on a subject relating to Stowmarket or to the wider history of Suffolk.

A visit is arranged each year (usually in July).

Entry non members £3 - members £1

Membership is £12.50 a year.
