UNKNOWN PHOTOGRAPHS

Memory of names and locations of photographs disappear all too easily unless some details are written on the back. This page is dedicated to photos that come into this category in the hope that someone may recognise the places and people pictured.

I bought this photo from an online auction site because it is by Stowmarket photographer W. Milligan, he took over from A. Bugg at The Studio in Finborough Road and the date would be I should think the 1880s or 90s. The bottom part of the photo is unfortunately faded. It seems likely that the location would be in the Stowmarket area. If anyone can identify it please do let me know.
