BOOKS ABOUT HAUGHLEY

THE BOOK OF HAUGHLEY

Compiled by The Haughley History Forum
The Haughley History Forum was formed in early 2004, when Celia and Howard Stephens, pursuing their interest in local history, realised that recording Haughley’s history was too big a task to tackle without help. Many of the memories of the past century are rapidly fading, and the group decided to records as much as possible from original sources, before it was too late! All this, and much more, is detailed in this 160 page book, copiously illustrated throughout with over 200 historic photographs of the places and people who have made up the thriving community of Haughley and its surrounding parish.
