RICHARDS FAMILY

The above photo from a local newspaper was sent me by Fred Baker, he found it amongst his Grandparents papers but doesn't know the significance to his family. The date at the top of the newspaper seems to be 1932. In the 1891 census Charles and Elizabeth Richards are living at 6 Lime Tree Place. Charles is a blacksmith, possibly working at Woods & Co. [later Suffolk Iron Foundry]. He was born at Syleham and his wife at Great Finborough. In the 1916 rate book C. Richards is at 133 Lime tree Place as stated in the caption. The caption also mentions "Ned" Richards playing football for Stowmarket, In "Stowmarket Town F.C. - The First Hundred Years" by Hughes, Dixon and Lillistone there is a photo of the 1923-24 team with a B. Richards who looks very like the "Ned" Richards in the above photo. Any further information would as always be welcome.
