1901 CENSUS - Rufus Terry, Harness maker wife Emma and daughter Ethel.

1913 - Joseph Gilson and Ada Roper owners split the property.
1916 - Owners Joseph Gilson, Eliza Gilson, Fred James and Robert Plumber.
1916 RATE BOOK, occupier - R. Terry. owner J. Gilson.1946 - Nos. 51 & 53 and 2 Regent Street (3 properties) owned by Spencer Chapman and rented by Rufus Terry. In 1881 Rufus Terry was a saddler journeyman with his grandfather James Terry at Church Street, Wangford, Suffolk (1881 census). His grandfather was a master saddler. Rufus William Terry married Emma Harriet Barnard. In 1899 their daughter Ethel May was born.
The corner of Regent Street and Stowupland Street was known as “Terry’s corner”.1949 - Owners Gilson and James.
In the 1950's
???? - Owners Gilson, Plumber, Plumber and Clark. Gilson was a fishmonger.
1956 - Owned by three women Warren, Plumber and Hoxley.
1957 - Sold to Sydney Charles Proctor £900
[Sydney Charles Proctor (23) electrician of Poplar Hill, Combs, son of Samuel Proctor, labourer; married Olivia Sarah Barrett (21) spinster of 92 Regent Street, daughter of Samuel Charles Barrett, plate layer at Stowmarket church on 20th April 1935.1972 - Mortgaged to Edwards £3,400.
1973 - Re-mortgaged £1900 for improvements.
1977 - Stowmarket town Guide and Directory 2 Regent Street: A.J. Edwards, O. Edwards (Olive) and P.H. Edwards (Peter).
1984 - Sold to Donald Rees Barnard and Pauline Lilian Barnard.
1987 - Application for Off-licence at The Cabin.2001 - Don Barnard passed away.
2003 - October - windows replaced with smaller units (see photo prior to window change).
